Frida II

Each step was carefully thought out to capture Frida's essence, starting with her body and depicting her injuries. This piece is remodeled after Frida’s original wardrobe. All clothing is removable.

Construction: Silks, Vintage kimono, and Cotton Fabrics. 

Body: Jointed head and arms. Hand-sculpted clay (jointed) head. Body Fabric- linen weave silk

Hand- painted with watercolor and inks. Eyes in acrylic.
